CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

We have planned an incredible itinerary showcasing the best activities and dining experiences that Brisbane has to offer.

Optional Activities 

On Tuesday, 30th August and Thursday, 1st September 2022, you will have the opportunity to select one optional activity of your choice to experience more of Brisbane .

Each activity is subject to minimum numbers in order to run and has maximum capacity restrictions.

 Optional activities are weather dependent and subject to change should COVID-19 restrictions alter; any changes will be communicated to delegates prior to commencement of Conference.

STORY BRIDGE CLIMB AND ABSEIL

Note: This activity is suitable for 6 years and older.  6yo-16yo need 1 x Adult guardian per child.

For the bucket list enthusiasts who want to claim “I’ve conquered the only bridge climb and abseil in the world!” Climb to the top of the iconic Story Bridge and enjoy a full 360 degree view of Brisbane and its surrounds. 

Pamper Afternoon

A bespoke walking tour curated in the Brisbane suburb of New Farm for an afternoon of relaxation and indulgence. 

The tour includes Boutique Shopping on James Street, a decadent High Tea in the chic and stylish Restaurant at Spicers Balfour and a 30 minute spa treatment.

You will have the opportunity to choose your preferred treatment, closer to the date.

Slideways Go Karting

Note: This activity is suitable for 14 years and older.

This indoor go kart track features 425m of adrenalin pumping action, with a pair of massive second level structures, an all weather outdoor loop, sweepers and esses. 

The track is designed by Slideways Go Karting Australia and is like no other in the southern hemisphere, allowing the karts to drift and get Slideways!

GOLF AT BROOKWATER GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

Enjoy an afternoon of 9-holes of Golf at the Brookwater Golf and Country Club. Setting a benchmark in golf in a beautiful tranquil bushland environment, the Brookwater Golf and Country Club is one of Australia’s finest. Offering a wide array of golfing activities across the 18 hole par 72 golf course.


The Taste of Brisbane - Spirit Tour

Note: This activity is suitable for 18 years and older.

A curated tour of Brisbane’s best distilleries and waterholes. The tour includes your selection of two locations including, Brisbane Distillery a uniquely Brisbane addition where the distillers make their Gin using pure, natural Queensland ingredients. The Gresham, which serves some of the highest calibre Whisky in the country and Milton Rum Distillery which brings a fresh approach to the Australian Rum scene which a range of craft spirits designed to excite and inspire a new age of rum drinkers.

Time At Leisure

Enjoy some Time At Leisure. 

Make use of the beautiful hotel pool or do some exploring in Brisbane on your own.


DINE BRISBANE

On the evening of Wednesday, 31st August, you will have the option to attend the Cocktail Function at The Terrace at The Emporium Hotel Southbank. GERARDS BISTRO

Tucked away behind James Street, Gerard's Bistro is a hidden treasure. Combining the flavours of the Maghreb and Middle East, the menu offers a modern take on classic dishes using locally sourced ingredients with traditional technique.
